As most people are celebrating the end of another school year and are looking forward to a summer break with their families, the Reserve Unit seems to be getting busier and busier. LAPD Reserve Recruitment and other sections/divisions took part in L.A. Fleet Week during Memorial Day weekend, where approximately 50 reserve police officer candidates applied. 

LAPD reserve police officers and Assistant Chief Blake Chow celebrated Ramadan at the Iman Cultural Center in Culver City in March.
