As his last official act as LAPD chief of police, Michel Moore honored Reserve Police Officer Bernard Khalili for his many years of service, including his significant role in collaborative efforts between the LAPD, officials in France and governments worldwide for the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, as well as his work with Major Crimes Division and heading up the Reserve Dignitary Protection Unit. 

As most people are celebrating the end of another school year and are looking forward to a summer break with their families, the Reserve Unit seems to be getting busier and busier. We just enjoyed our time together at the Twice a Citizen Gala, followed almost immediately by our big recruitment drive at L.A. Fleet Week 2024 during Memorial Day weekend.
