An LAPD reserve police officer with the Department’s Rifle Cadre responded to a shots fired, ADW suspect with a gun incident in the Topanga Area.

Reserve Officer David Bush, now retired, was Santa Claus this past year. At the last Twice a Citizen Gala in 2023, he received the Andrea Freidman Award for going above and beyond with his years of service as LAPD’s liaison with the Sunshine Kids, the Special Olympics and Children’s Hospital L.A.
