On May 19, Assistant Chief Blake Chow requested LAPD reserve police officers to work extra patrol in Chinatown, including the areas surrounding Pico House and the Chinese American Museum in the LAPD’s Central Area. 

April is LAPD’s Reserve Appreciation Month. This year, Reserve Academy Class guidon flags were on display in the lobby of LAPD Headquarters. Historically, the classes have marched, run and graduated with their guidon as part of LAPD Academy tradition.

Below is an update on what the California Reserve Peace Officers Association (CRPOA) has been up to over the last year. I also want to encourage those of you who are not members to please consider joining and attending this year’s Annual Reserve Peace Officers Conference (ARPOC).
