The 2023 Twice a Citizen Gala will be held Saturday, May 6th in the Guerin Pavillion of the Skirball Cultural Center located at 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90049.
Our evening will be hosted by Araksya Karapetyan, Fox 11’s host of Good Day LA, and Mark Thompson of KFI and The New Mark Thompson Show podcast.
LAPD Chief of Police Michel Moore will join us to personally recognize LAPD Reserve Officers chosen from each Division for their extraordinary efforts “to protect and to serve” the citizens of Los Angeles above and beyond the call of duty.
In addition, the 2023 Twice a Citizen Awards will salute two outstanding Angeleno couples – former NBA superstar Norman Nixon and his wife award-winning actress/producer/dancer/ choreographer Debbie Allen for their staunch support of at-risk youth and multiple community programs; plus, Uri and Myna Herscher, founder of the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, and avid supporters of community programs affecting at-risk youth, special needs children and their families.
