LAPRF Message to LAPD Reserve Officers

Dear LAPD Reserve Police Officers and families,

As sworn peace officers, you help others, committing to keeping our communities safe and doing what is necessary. This reality comes into stark relief in times such as these, when we come to realize that we are exactly that — a family, in which one’s challenges and suffering affects us all.

As you respond to this extraordinary crisis, we want to be sure you know the Los Angeles Police Reserve Foundation (LAPRF) remains a valuable resource for you.  In light of current circumstances, and the CDC recommendation to cancel all events with 50 or more people for the next eight weeks, we have decided to postpone our annual Twice A Citizen Gala. TAC was scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 2nd. That has been postponed.  We hope to be able to honor our heroes later this year.

The LAPRF is much more than just the organization that honors your service, and more than ever before, we are here for you.

The support we’re extending to you
